Morning Adhkar: Complete Morning Dhikr & Duas

A morning reading drawn from the adhkar in Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, and Tirmidhi. Each phrase is given in Arabic, transliteration, and English, with the count that belongs to it.

What are morning adhkar?

Morning adhkar are the remembrances and short supplications taught for the start of the day. They are not one long prayer. They are a set: a verse, three short surahs, a plea for forgiveness, and a few repeated phrases.

Tasbih Hub keeps the morning wording separate from the evening. Where the Arabic changes — asbahna in the morning, amsayna in the evening — the page says so.

When should they be recited?

The usual time is after Fajr, while the morning is still morning. If the day has already moved on, recite what you can with attention rather than treating the set as lost. The waking dua is said as you wake. This page is the wider set that follows.

Frequently asked questions

When should morning adhkar be recited?

After Fajr and through the morning, before the sun reaches its height. If you wake late, recite what you can rather than skipping the day.

Do I have to finish every phrase for the adhkar to count?

No. A shorter sincere set is better than a rushed one you do not understand. The routine on this page is a practical selection, not the only authentic list.

Are morning and evening adhkar the same?

Several phrases are shared, including Ayat al-Kursi and the three short surahs. The entrance dua and the evening refuge in Allah's words are not interchangeable.
